[After Shigure of all people managed to convince him that he should find the stubborn idiot and try to clear things up (he really hopes his brother doesn't lord this over his head God), Rokurou makes his way to where the malak had last been. He wondered if he would have to drag him out of the bar or find him tossed somewhere on the streets, but his answer was pretty much immediate.
With a hand on his hip, he stares down at the sloshed malak and kicks at his boot.]
C'mon before you trip someone.
[Which is. Not impossible given how finicky Eizen's visibility is. Who knows, he probably already tripped several drunks and caused them to panic.
[He had a lot to think about himself. Getting told off by Rokurou's older brother really put some things in perspective. He knew Rokurou was the way he was, and maybe he shouldn't have gotten so defensive when the other man approached him about Serah. It just felt like he was already ready to fight and Eizen wasn't the type of person to just sit down and take it... still, he knows he was an idiot, and this whole thing was about 99% his fault.
He was out of the bar by now, mostly because his emotions were still acting ridiculous and it was enough so that after hours of drinking on his own, the bartender told Eizen to leave before his emotions caused his bar's ceiling to fall in.
So there he sat against the wall off the bar, staring up at the rain that started forming above him and the bar. He must have been lost in his drunken thought because he didn't even sense that anyone was near him. He felt the nudging to his book and slowly lowered his head to see who it was. ]
Roku...?
[ Wait...! He's not allowed to see him right now! He was supposed to give him a few days!... had it already been a few days? Actually... how long had he been out here... ]
It's past your bedtime.
[ He tried to sound like he didn't care, but for a split second the rain started clearing up. ]
[Rokurou just looks down at him, noting how that rain clears a little and sighs a little. Not in exasperation or annoyance, but...more because he didn't realize how bad Eizen had taken things and he's reminded of how Eizen took care of him when he was at his own lows. Man. He really had been an ass.]

[Said lightheartedly before he squats down, arms hanging loosely over his knees. Well. He's conscious so that's one thing, and he recognized him, so that's another.]
Am I going to have to carry you or can you walk?
[Probably will still have to end up carrying him.]
[ He turned his head away, honestly trying to focus on anything at this point that wasn't Rokurou crouched in front of him. He couldn't even feel embarrassed at this point with how much he drank. Any normal man would have been knocked out for days. ]
I should stay here. You'll never cool off at this rate.
[ He loosely grips at the fabric of his pants and slowly shifts so he could sit up properly, though a bit sluggish. ]
If I hadn't "cooled off" by now I would have been kicking you to the ground.
[Said with a light grin, one that's more like his usual ones. There's still an awkward air around him, but none of the anger from the before. So he just watches as Eizen tries to sit himself up, not moving from his spot. Already he feels like he should haul the malak up, but he'll give him a chance first.
But ugh. Damn Eizen, how much did you actually drink?]

[If he were an average human, he'd be concerned about him catching a cold or something. As it is, however, he's just wondering how long it's been since his brother left him.]

He glances down at the ground where his coat was lying and picks it up to hold out to Rokurou. If he actually grabs for it, he'll notice Stormhowl nice and dry underneath his soaked coat. ]
Seriously... you should go. I'm a big boy, I can handle myself.
[ Says the man who's taking a while to actually follow through with his actions... ]
Rokurou is a bit confused when Eizen hands him his coat. Seriously, he knows he loves the thing, but why is—
Although slow to take, the swordsman had done so thinking that Eizen wanted him to carry it or something. But when he actually feels the weight in his hand? He automatically knew what was really hidden within the coat. So his eyes widen before he looks back at Eizen—and it's then that he notices the cuts and bandages on his hands. Well, really pays attention to it. He had noticed before, but he hadn't cared at the time, not bothering to think why. Now...he does a little, trying to remember what Eizen had been doing before he kicked the door open.
He couldn't.
Grip tightening over the fabric, he just takes a breath and looks at Eizen, still not budging.]
[ Eizen falls silent for a bit. It was hard to get the words to come out when his stubbornness was fighting with his drunkenness. It was stupid and completely embarrassing and probably half of the reason he wanted to get trashed in the first place. He's already unloaded enough on other people, he should just keep it to himself, but his drunken mind is winning the fight. ]
Since coming here, I already knew trying was pointless... Whether it's my curse or my shit personality, the only ones who stick to me are loyal idiots like you and the crew back home...
[ He starts wringing his hands a bit, trying to distract himself with anything he could do so he didn't have to look at Rokurou in the eyes. ]
but I tried anyway. And all trying has gotten me are burnt bridges and... I don't want you to become another burnt bridge... so go.
[This is...definitely not something he ever thought about Eizen, at least not like this. He knew his curse and existence made it difficult for him to make any real bonds with people, but he thought the malak similar to himself. It's something they know, accepted, don't really care too much about. Enjoy what's there. But hearing about the burnt bridges...

[He then steps towards Eizen and just leans down to sling his arm beneath the malak's shoulder and forces him to stand.]
You're not that awful. Now hold this. [He then pushes Stormhowl still wrapped in Eizen's coat hard against his chest.]
[ He was used to the loneliness and used all the things that came with having a curse like his, but at the end of the day, it was still lonely and even a stubborn man like Eizen could be affected by it. It's why the things and people that do stick around, EIzen gets even more stupid about.
He lets out a grunt when he feels Rokurou forcing him up to his feet. He was too drunk to try and fight the daemon off so up he goes. Hopefully Rokurou didn't mind rain all that much. ]

[Definitely not, but he's fairly certain Eizen has had to deal with his dumb self plenty of times, so he'll just try to move with him and keep his balance. Which is not easy so he'll at least stop trying to move for now.]
[Don't worry, you silly pirate, the daemon's got you.
He knows he shouldn't laugh, but—well given how awkward and tense things had been, that was just a very Eizen thing for him to say, drunk or not.]
Okay, okay, then you can save the apology for after you got a gift. Doesn't mean you can't go stay on the ship. Or would you feel better if I booked you a room at an inn instead?
[At this point he's just kind of playing along to appease the pirate. He's going back to the ship, deal with it.]
[ Eizen lets out a huff and with that he goes back to leaning his weight against Rokurou. It seemed like the rain wasn't really following them now which was probably a good sign, or a sign that Eizen was too drunk too feel things anymore... it's probably not that last guess. ]
You're better off ditching me... somewhere no one else is. Like an empty alley, or off the cliff side.
